Mukul Mohan is a seasoned Senior Manager for Infosec with over 7 years of experience in Information Systems, Security, and Network Operations. He is a hands-on, results-driven professional with notable success in directing a broad range of corporate IT security initiatives while participating in the support of Security Architecture, SOC design, client critical infrastructure, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, physical security, and threat mitigations. He is an outstanding project and program leader who can coordinate, direct, and operate at all phases of project-based efforts while managing a team. He is currently working as a Senior Manager Information Security at Airbase. In his previous roles, Mukul has worked with Esper as Manager - Security Compliance, where he provided subject matter expertise in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of appropriate enterprise programs, policies, and procedures to be compliant with all applicable regulations, including ISO, SOC, HIPAA, PCI, and GDPR. He also managed the vendor compliance program, including vendor assessments and onsite reviews, planned and executed BCP-DR at corporate level, and developed and maintained communication command and control systems for crisis management and resulting business continuity. Mukul also conceptualized and established the Centre of Excellence on Cyber Security Service elements by benchmarking with industry best practices and quality frameworks. Before joining Esper, Mukul worked with IBM as a Security Program Manager, where he was responsible for IBM’s compliance as a First Tier Down Stream (FDR) for clients, front-end external compliance audits w.r.t ISO 27001 at the United States, India, and the Philippines, and front-end ATT SOC II w.r.t security for IBM Infrastructure and Cloud services and Support Anthem SOCII audit. He also managed security risk governance, reviewed contracts and client negotiations for security/compliance requirements and SLAs, and collaborated with the client (IT Managers & Vendor Management team) to define metrics framework and design SLA reporting dashboards.
