Mukund Anandan is a seasoned Technical Lead with over 11 years of experience in the design, integration, and verification of system software used in long-haul, cloud, and metro optical transport products. He has an excellent understanding of the overall product development cycle, from system requirement gathering to executing automation and integration tests for various software applications. Currently, Mukund is serving as a Technical Lead RnD VnV at Ribbon Communications, where he is responsible for leading the research and development of the company's verification and validation processes. He has also worked as a Sr Metro Optical Systems QA Engineer at Infinera, where he was part of the Metro Networks product line network element software and test team. Here, he worked on Optical System software design, validation, and integration for metro line of products, including an innovative solution using LAN10G for low latency fronthaul support. Additionally, he tested deployment scenarios for control loops on extended C band DWDM systems and validated system software to enable data path encryption on Metro Optical Systems using IKE based key exchange. Mukund's experience also includes working as an Optical Systems QA Engineer 2 at Infinera, where he was involved in the validation of end-to-end optical solutions for DWDM based network deployments. He demonstrated L band-based optical solutions for customer deployment based on customer requirements, configured end-to-end optical services on DWDM networks using ROADM based optical solutions, and worked with FW design and SW architecture teams on system validation of Raman based L band amplifier modules. He also delivered a fully tunable C band transponder product that provided long haul and data center connectivity.
