Mukund is a highly skilled iOS developer with over 10 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently working as a Member of Technical Staff 1 at PayPal, where he is responsible for developing iOS applications for iOS 11.* and below versions for all types of iDevices. Mukund's main focus is to follow the best practices and come up with the most suitable optimized solution for the given requirement and show the quality from his implementations. Mukund has extensive experience in co-ordinating, designing and developing Verizon "FiOS Mobile" entertainment app. He has created multiple static libraries to be integrated into the app and mainly worked on the linear section of the app (Live TV, Guide, DVR/VMS, Search, etc.). He has also worked on multilevel security-based SSO. As a senior developer, Mukund has been participating in application and module level design discussions, optimizations, flow discussions, and implementations. He has been learning and deciding on different design patterns in his implementations such as MVC, Delegation, Observer, Facade, Singleton pattern, etc. He has worked with multiple core iOS frameworks and used core Objective C features in his implementations like GCD/Multithreading, KVC/KVO, Blocks, NSOperations, Swizzling, Categories, Protocols, Predicates, Coding/Copying, etc. He has been following Agile practices in his daily work and has been managing a team of 3-4 members, regularly coordinating with them, managing their JIRA activities, and doing code reviews. Mukund has also been a regular participator in extra activities being held in COEs, Technology road shows, and Hackathon. He also works with an innovative group responsible for bringing something innovative that could be added as a useful feature in FiOS app. One of the ideas was to integrate iPhone's touch id sensor with FiOS app to add an extra layer of security in the app. Mukund has previously worked at companies like Makemytrip and Morningstar as a Senior Software Engineer II and iOS Developer, respectively. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from RCERT Chandrapur.
