Muniraju Pulipalyam is a highly experienced technology professional with over 26 years of experience in the industry. Currently serving as the CTO-in-Residence at Microsoft Accelerator in Bangalore, Muniraju is responsible for driving everything tech to help "market-ready" startups become "enterprise ready" and scale and succeed with Microsoft cloud platform. Prior to his current role, Muniraju spent 17 years in Microsoft Consulting Services working with large enterprises and governments. As a Senior Architect, he focused on architecting and delivering large-scale complex projects on current technologies such as Cortana Analytics, Windows Azure, Hybrid Cloud, Windows Azure Machine Learning, and Mahout on Azure, among others. He was also involved in architecting high-performance and highly scalable middle-tier, highly available multi-terabyte solutions for the last 15 years. Muniraju has been driving large enterprise IT and CIO initiatives for the past 7 years for large enterprise and government customers of Microsoft. He was resident chief architect for four years on Microsoft iDAP program for the healthcare industry, helping a partner build a healthcare product and deliver a healthcare solution on Microsoft platform for NHS UK. Muniraju is a Principal Consultant with experience in solution architecture on the Microsoft platform for high-impact engagements. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Mysore and an EPGM from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Muniraju's technical expertise includes Senior Software Engineer, Azure, SQL, and ML. He is passionate about data and helps enterprises and governments mine it. He firmly believes that data is the new currency and that its value is only realized when we get the context and understand the qualitative and quantitative attributes attached to it.
