Muralidharan Pillai is a highly experienced senior IT leader with over 21 years of expertise in software development and managing complex projects through the entire life cycle. He is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Providence. Muralidharan is an expert in consulting/pre-sales and has contributed to the development of many differentiated and competitive solutions. His ability to innovate, transform, automate, manage stakeholders, develop talent and deliver has helped in building many high performing teams and COE that consistently achieve project/program goals. Muralidharan has spent over 14 years in the healthcare industry, gaining knowledge of clinical processes, revenue cycle management, clinical terminologies, semantic ontology, advanced health analytics, and healthcare standards in Provider, Payer, PBM and Public Health segments. He has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal. Muralidharan has worked with several leading companies in the past, including Optum, where he served as an Associate Director, and IBM, where he was a Healthcare Managing Consultant. At IBM, he was responsible for ICD-10 and RCM Strategy, Solution and Implementation for one of the largest for-profit hospitals in the US.
