Muralidharan Rangan is an accomplished Senior Director of Engineering at Flipkart, with over twenty years of industry experience in startups, mid-sized to large organizations. Presently, Muralidharan is heading overall Fintech Engineering (Lending - BNPL, Co-Branded Card, Seller Finance, Insurance, data-driven Insights), as part of FPG BU at Flipkart. He has also worked as the VP of Engineering at Series A funded Moneytap, where he led the Engineering whole team, launched new products and new markets, doubled the team, streamlined best engineering practices balancing velocity with quality. Muralidharan is also the Founder & CEO of SadakPlay, where he drove overall execution, raised seed fund, built partnerships with six large Kannada distribution labels, acquired 1000+ movies for distribution, led sales across 50 retailers, built product, and made INR 500K revenue from users selling content through a video sharing network like ShareIt, without Internet. In addition, Muralidharan has worked as the Head of Engineering (Mobile Ad Network) at InMobi, where he handled 10x growth in scale from 300M ad requests a day to 3Bn a day and built the engineering organization of 120+ engineers. He has also architected and built payments products for Amazon operating at large scale. Muralidharan has a Master of Science in Computer Science (Networking) from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology.
