Murtuza Dahodwala is a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with a wealth of expertise in the field of Data Science. As an IBM Certified Senior Data Scientist, he has specialized knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP. Currently, he is leading a team of data scientists at DXFactor, a digital transformation company that helps organizations transform their data into opportunities they never knew existed. Murtuza's focus is on using his expertise to derive these opportunities and work on different domains, including banking, marine, shipping, and e-commerce. Murtuza's intellectual thoughts have allowed him to work on diverse topics such as Recommendation System, Face Recognition, Voice Synthesis, Speech Recognition, OCR, Conversational AI, and Chatbots. He is also a part-time Data Science Trainer, Mentor, Counsellor, and Subject Matter Expert for various top-level institutes such as BITS Pilani, Amity Future Academy, and UpGrad. Murtuza's current role as Senior Data Scientist at DXFactor involves leading a team of data science and engineering professionals to work with various clients and achieve organizational goals. He has built a state-of-the-art ensemble unsupervised learning algorithm for detecting fraud business loan applications for top US banks and an object detection model to detect and research about 50+ different species of fish for a well-known marine institute. He also deploys models on Azure & AWS infrastructure and constantly works with datasets from different domains and industries to leverage them for business growth using AI & ML. Murtuza has previously worked as an Xpert Coach at UpGrad and a Senior Data Scientist at Petpooja, where he powered A.I. for next-generation restaurant POS.
