Muskan Gour is a highly motivated individual with a passion for finance, investment banking, analytics and data science. She is currently pursuing her First Year MBA with specialization in Finance, while also completing her Fourth Year in Chemical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Currently, Muskan is working with Quantify Capital as a Quantitative Trading Programme. Her role involves designing quantitative trading algorithms and backtesting with alpha using machine learning. She is responsible for extracting, interpreting and analyzing a variety of financial data sets to identify trading opportunities and designing, backtesting and implementing them based on Volatility and Theta. Prior to this, Muskan worked with Citigroup as a Data Developer. During her tenure, she worked in the Global Spread Products Business Unit on the Client Insight: Data Streaming and Upload Utility project. She successfully reduced the extra time and double memory usage that traditionally was due to wait time for file preparation and its storage. She also combined data available in raw format using ETL Tool (Talend), processed and sent the data in real time to Kafka producer. She transferred data from Kafka, Distributed Streaming Platform to the end consumer, Elasticsearch as soon as it is prepared. Muskan has also worked with Coursesmojo Academy as a Financial Modelling expert. During her tenure, she covered Relative Valuations covering the P/E, EV/EBITDA, EV Sales and P/B multiple using DCF Valuation. She also worked on DCF Valuation of the company to calculate Enterprise Value, Equity Value and Share Price. She learnt Advanced Excel, Goal Seek, Sensitivity Analysis and VBA Macros to automate tasks. Muskan has a strong educational background with a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. She is well-versed in various technologies such as Data Scientist, Kafka, test, ML, Elastic Search and ETL. With 1.29 years of relevant experience, Muskan is a highly skilled professional with a passion for finance and data science. She is a quick learner and has a strong desire to learn and grow in her career.
