At Amazon, he worked as a Software Engineering Intern with the Fast Data Pipelines team. He implemented the state-of-the-art hashtag recommendation model and optimized it to reduce the final prediction time by over 70% without degrading performance metrics. Mustansir also designed a novel architecture for hashtag recommendations that incorporated user features and scraped a dataset of 50,000+ images for training and testing. Mustansir holds a Master of Science (MSc.) and Bachelor of Engineering (BE.) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also completed his High School education in Science from La Martiniere for Boys.
