MuthuKannan Ganesan is a seasoned Solutions Architect with over 14 years of experience in the IT industry, specializing in Banking & Insurance domains. He has 13+ years of experience in providing solutions for BI & Analytics area and implementing end-end BI solutions in large enterprise environments. He has demonstrated his proficiency by playing a major role in the digital transformation initiative, which involves complete BI solution migration from traditional to Big Data Ecosystem. MuthuKannan is an expert in implementing cloud solutions specific to the BI & Analytics domain. He is proficient in implementing Microsoft BI stack in On-Premise and Azure cloud platforms. He has been involved in end-to-end solutions and implementation of robust security principles in the Big Data & Analytics platform. He has also been involved in various niche solutions, particularly in the area of Advanced Analytics, Real-time dashboards, and machine learning. MuthuKannan has hands-on experience in Big data (HIVE), ELK, Kibana, Starburst Trino, SAP HANA, Tableau, SAS, Alteryx, Rapid Miner, Azure ML & AI. He is excellent in data analysis with a strong background in DWH concepts. He is experienced in SharePoint- Configuration, Implementation & Administration, and working on Migration and Production support projects (databases, BI solutions, SharePoint portals, and web applications). MuthuKannan is currently working as a Solutions Architect Business Intelligence at Dubai Islamic Bank, where he is responsible for the design, implementation, and migration of 3500 reports and dashboards from SAP BO to Power BI, leading the team of 20+ BI Engineers. He is drafting Governance for Power BI Adoption and implementing Power BI (On-Premise) and Analysis Server environment. He has also worked at Emirates as a Senior BI Engineer, where he played a major role in the digital transformation initiative, which involves complete BI solution migration from traditional to Big Data Ecosystem. MuthuKannan has a Master of Computer Applications degree from Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore, and a BCA degree from Pondicherry University Community College. He also holds a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from K.K.G.H.S and a Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) from St. Joseph's English High School.
