Nabil Shahid is a Product Manager with over 10 years of experience leading global-scale products through the full lifecycle, from inception to launch to scale. He possesses a diverse talent stack ranging from user experience design to technical infrastructure, and has deep product and ecosystem knowledge of iOS and Android. Nabil is currently working at Google as a Product Manager for Google Search Apps (iOS + Android), where he is responsible for the product lead of the client app platform for Google's Search Apps across iOS and Android. Nabil has a proven track record of transforming standalone products into full-fledged client app platforms. He developed the platform strategy for the flagship Google Search Apps on iOS and Android, and built and led a team of Product Managers to drive and execute this strategy. Nabil also led a full redesign and UX overhaul of the Search App on iOS and a ground-up rewrite on Android, increasing design and product quality, app reliability, and velocity of product development at Google scale. He also envisioned and built cross-platform development frameworks & APIs that allowed teams across Google to build features once and deploy them across all Search entry points, maximizing coverage. Prior to his current role, Nabil worked at Google as a Product Manager for Google Search on iOS and gTech Partner Solutions. In his role as a Product Manager for gTech Partner Solutions, he created a suite of products for millions of partners to self-service their relationships with Google, accelerating product scaling, reducing service and operational costs, and boosting partner happiness. Nabil also built a planet-scale data crawler and supporting services to populate Google’s products with partner data and enable simple storage migration to Google’s cloud. Additionally, he created a rapid development platform for building and deploying partner-facing web apps at scale. Nabil holds an MBA in Product Development from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business.
