Nabila Ahmed is a skilled full-stack software engineer with over 2 years of experience working at Google. She is passionate about problem-solving, writing clean code, building testable and maintainable systems, and following best practices in collaborative software development processes. Nabila has worked in agile environments, breaking down tasks and analyzing time, effort, and priority to develop and improve features used by the company and its customers. Before joining Google, Nabila worked as a Consultant Developer at ThoughtWorks, where she was responsible for building new features for the executive dashboard of the Department for Work and Pensions. She also automated data upload in the application, allowing users to preview the effect of new data and take appropriate actions. Nabila used AngularJS and Java for this project and used Highcharts for charts. She also used AWS and Terraform for infrastructure. Nabila also worked as a Software Engineer at NewsCred, where she was part of the Ideation team. She helped users find the best topic for their articles by presenting different metrics for each topic, supported by SEMrush. Nabila worked with microservices and used NodeJS, Angular, ReactJS, Django, Flask, and AWS for this project. She also built the Component Library with NewsCred's brand-related designs using ReactJS and created both representational and smart components for effective code reuse. Nabila showcased the designs on a DSM (Design System Manager) like storybooks. Nabila holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from North South University, where she graduated in 2017. Before that, she completed her O'Level and A'Level from Willes Little Flower School in 2012. Nabila has relevant experience of 5.78 years and is proficient in technologies such as AWS, Terraform, infra, Java, Microservices, Flask, AngularJS, and ReactJS.
