Nachiket Kshatriya is a Software Engineer II at Microsoft with over 5 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Summer Intern at ANSYS, where he developed a web-app using Google Polymer and integrated it with ANSYS Fluid. The app allows multiple users to remotely carry out Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation jobs on a central server and get back the results. Previously, Nachiket worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Veritas, where he briefly worked with the file systems team before joining a new team that was developing persistent, enterprise-grade storage solutions for Docker containers. He developed a UI and a RESTful API gateway to allow users to manage the storage required by the containers. The UI was developed using the Angular 4 framework and communicates with the back-end services using REST APIs implemented with Node.js Express. Nachiket also integrated the container management service with Alexa for voice-enabled control and interaction. As a Summer Intern at Cortado, Nachiket worked on a start-up to provide monthly coffee subscriptions to customers at a chain of partner coffee shops. He developed a mobile app for Android and iOS using AWS Amplify framework for the user to search for coffee shops, subscribe to different monthly plans, and redeem coffee. Nachiket holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune. His technical skills include software engineering, AWS, Android, iOS, search, and mobile development.
