Nachiket Kulkarni is an emerging engineering leader with an MTech in CAD/CAM from VIT, Chennai. He has over 7 years of experience in engineering product development, design, manufacturing engineering, process planning, and project management. Nachiket is currently a Lead Engineer (Design Engineering) at GE Aviation, where he provides structural design and stress analysis support to GE shops and its suppliers worldwide. He is responsible for ensuring timely resolution of issues to enable parts availability for engine builds and delivering on module targets for services productivity to meet profitability margins. With a sound knowledge of thermo-mechanical stress analysis, fatigue & fracture mechanics, modal vibration analysis, GD&T, and resolution of manufacturing non-conformances, Nachiket has proven skills in managing multiple stakeholders/projects in diversified product portfolios as an engineer in the shop. He has comprehensive experience and visible achievements in diverse manufacturing arenas, including machines parts, hog-out machining, new part qualification, fixture design, process improvement, cycle time optimization, yield improvement, CAM programming, CNC post-processor building & troubleshooting, digital manufacturing, etc. Nachiket is an effective communicator with strong analytical background, logical thinker, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities. He is a self-starter and independently developed technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with solutions that are innovative, thoroughly thought through and practicable, and consistent with organizational goals. Nachiket has worked with cross-functional teams & various stakeholders, including manufacturing/repair shops, to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of the hardware. Nachiket has also worked as a Lead Engineer (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) and Engineer/Technologist (CAM & Development) at GE Aviation, where he provided technical design substantiation to field issues of global stakeholders, supported process and manufacturing engineering machining center of excellence at GE Aviation manufacturing shop (a multi-modal facility), and provided solutions to non-conformances raised in the shop. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University and completed his HSC from Services Preparatory Institute, Pravaranagar. Nachiket's technical skills include being a Senior Software Engineer. He has relevant experience of 8.11 years.
