Nacho Vargas is a seasoned Product Designer with 7.77 years of relevant experience in the industry. As a UX Designer, he is passionate about creating the best possible experience for users by immersing himself in their shoes and being their voice inside the product team. Nacho is skilled in using research strategies and developing empathy to build a deep understanding of user needs, pain points, and circumstances, which he uses to align business objectives with development efforts. In addition to UX Design, Nacho also has extensive experience in UI Design. He is focused on delivering visual experiences that delight users and help them accomplish their tasks smoothly, with affordance and accessibility always in mind. Nacho also has a foot in development, helping with the front-end side of digital products. Nacho has worked on a variety of projects, including B2B and B2C projects such as chat bot experiences, investment management digital products, and business and personal website design and development. Currently, Nacho is working at AXA as a UX/UI Designer. Nacho's past work experience includes working at Altran as a UX/UI Developer, where he was assigned to AXA Group Operations. He also worked at Artiq Agencia Creativa as a Graphic Designer and Front-End Web Developer, where he was responsible for graphic design, web development using HTML, CSS, JS, and WordPress, creating newsletters, and creating custom themes for WordPress. Nacho holds a Postgraduate degree in Web Design from EINA Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art de Barcelona, a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from ESDAP - Escola Superior de Disseny i d'Arts Plàstiques, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Philosophy from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Nacho has also completed a course in Advanced Photoshop CC Tools for Designers from Centres Innovació i Formació Ocupacional - CIFO. Nacho's tech stack includes expertise in designer, UI, product designer, Frontend, Research Scientist, and Web.
