Nadeem K. is a technology leader and EVP/CIO for Credit Cards, Retail, Merchant services, collections, and Personal Lending at Wells Fargo. He has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on strategic planning, application development, and process governance. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Nadeem held various executive roles in technology, including Global head of US Marcus Savings Engineering, Global head of Marcus Cards Core Systems, Global head of Solutions Engineering for Marcus, and Global head of Quality Management for Marcus Technology. He helped launch Marcus in 2016, which was the first direct-to-consumer offering by Goldman Sachs. Today, Marcus offers Lending, Savings, Invest, Credit Cards, and financial education to millions of customers. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Nadeem was a technology executive at Federal Reserve Bank, where he established and led strategic planning, application rationalization, and process governance for application development. He also held executive roles in technology at Walker Digital Inc., Skillgames Inc., Conversion Marketing Inc., Xceed Inc., Uproar Inc., Research Institute of America, and MetLife. Nadeem holds a degree in Computer Science from City University of New York-Queens College and a degree in Computer Engineering from Edison Technical School. His tech stack includes QA and research scientist. As a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, Nadeem was responsible for all technology supporting millions of active accounts/customers. He led the development and implementation of relevant policies, procedures, and systems required for maintaining and developing the overall departmental strategy. He oversaw executive, business-critical, and strategic projects, assessed project risk factors, and suggested alternatives to mitigate or eliminate possible risk within assigned projects. He also developed and managed asset management, onboarding/offboarding processes, space management, and workforce staffing strategy.
