Nadeem M. is a Machine Learning Engineer at NewSpace Research, where he is focused on building bleeding-edge computer vision models for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). He completed his Bachelor of Technology Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from TKM College of Engineering under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala. Apart from his technical expertise, Nadeem is also a passionate advocate for sustainability. He was a Millennium Fellow and Campus Director for the Class of 2018, actively campaigning for this Fellowship. TKM College of Engineering was the only cohort selected from India and one among the three selected from Asia for the Class of 2019 of the Millennium Fellowship. Nadeem's technical skillset includes ML, computer vision, research scientist, deep learning, AI, OpenCV, Python, Pytorch, test, TensorFlow, object detection, web, Keras, product manager, neural networks, and Azure. He is an evolving innovator, teacher, learner, and researcher. In addition to his current role at NewSpace Research, Nadeem has held past positions with the same company as a Computer Vision Intern and a Deep Learning Intern. He is also pursuing a MicroMasters® degree in Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which he is expected to complete in December 2022. Overall, Nadeem is a talented and passionate individual with a diverse skillset and a commitment to sustainability.
