Nadeesh Garg is a seasoned Senior Data Engineer with over 8 years of experience in data systems. He has a diverse background that ranges from research in complex systems and network theory to working briefly as a data scientist in finance and NLP. Nadeesh has also conceptualized and built full-stack web applications for web development, designed and built event-based data pipelines with managed Kafka, Airflow, and Spark, and worked as an ML Ops specialist. Currently, Nadeesh works as a Senior Software Engineer at tekion, where he has worked on productionizing various ML models to put into production, scaled various existing services using ASGI and WSGI serving capabilities, designed and implemented Spark-based ETL pipelines for doing massive computations for the creation of feature sets used by DS for creating models, and designed and implemented workflow management for the same to keep track of various pipelines. He has also designed and implemented various ML models for streaming data using Spark Streaming. In the past, Nadeesh worked as a Lead Data Engineer at Cuemath, where he designed and developed an end-to-end, schedulable, scalable, configurable ETL pipeline system that made it possible to use real-time events to construct clean, aggregated data using the Airflow and Spark DAG systems (plus Lambda, Kafka, S3, Redshift). He also worked as a Research Assistant at The Institute of Mathematical Sciences, where he worked with Prof. Sitabhra Sinha from the Complex Systems and Non-Linear Dynamics team. Nadeesh holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and completed his Class 12 education in Science with Computers from Delhi Public School.
