Nag Sandeep is an experienced Firmware Engineer with a demonstrated history of working on Audio Amplifier Systems, Power Electronics, Electric Drives, and Motor Control Product Development. He is currently working as a Senior Software Developer at Qualcomm India, where he specializes in device drivers, firmware, BSP, and power electronics. With a proven track record of developing quality embedded software/firmware with low power microcontrollers for various applications such as amplifier and AC drives applications, Nag is a skilled professional with expertise in audio amplifier software development on the MCU platform. He has hands-on experience in developing device drivers for CODECs with SPI/I2C communication protocol and M-Scripting and Model Based Development with MATLAB/Simulink Modelling. Nag has developed expertise in device driver development, including eFlexPWM, ADC, DAC, Comparators, Timer, Interrupts, GPIO, SysTick, CMSIS, X-BAR, Quadrature Encoder Module, SPI, SCI. He is also skilled in fixed and floating-point arithmetic programming. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Nag worked as a Software Engineer II at Harman, where he wrote firmware for audio amplifier applications under the MCU platform and developed device drivers for audio codecs and interfacing with MCU via SPI/I2C communication protocol. He also worked as a Firmware Engineer at GE Power, where he was the sole contributor to the development of a virtual power system real-time simulator for Medium Voltage MV6 Drive under MATLAB environment (Multi-Level Inverter Technology) and implemented a novel algorithm on flying capacitor balancing for NPP based 5 level inverter. Nag holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Industrial Electronics from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from PES College of Engineering. He also has a Diploma in Electronics and Communication from D Banumaiah's Polytechnic Mysore. With 7.03 years of relevant experience, Nag is a highly skilled and experienced professional in the field of firmware engineering and device driver development.
