Naga Sai Bodepudi is a highly skilled and versatile software developer with a passion for machine learning. With a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from IIT Guwahati and a Master's degree in Computer Science from NYU, Naga has a strong educational background in statistics, finance, mathematics, and computer science. He has worked on a diverse range of projects, including trading algorithms, websites, API’s, backend systems, games, network algorithms, bash scripts, and AI-ML models. Naga's main interests lie in the fields of finance, technology, and security, and he is always eager to learn new skills and improve his knowledge. He is motivated by working on projects that genuinely impact lives in a positive way. Currently, Naga works as a Course Assistant for the graduate-level course Cloud Computing at NYU under Prof. Sambit Sahu. As a Teaching Assistant, he has mentored a wide range of projects from various teams over two semesters to successfully build products from ideas using Serverless architecture with AWS resources. He has also given tutorials in the class on working of AWS services like Lambda, Lex, Dynamodb, Open search, Sagemaker, etc. and contributed to the development and grading of Assignments. In his past roles, Naga has worked as a Data Engineer at Dataeconomy, where his main responsibility was to develop graph-based algorithms on the Neo4j database for AML systems. He has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Paytm Payments Bank, where he was involved in the development of a near real-time system to fetch data from all the different verticals based on selected features to generate a score of customer using MLP Neural Networks. He also made a model based on Merchant's name to categorize the name and suggest a better one in case of a suspicious name. Additionally, he made a model to identify duplicate customers who avail new customer coupons based on image recognition, frequent locations, devices used, customer data provided, and transactions pattern.
