Nagabhushan Baddi is an experienced AI professional with a strong background in machine learning and search. He is currently working as a Machine Learning Intern at Infosys as part of the InStep Global Internship Program. Nagabhushan has worked on several machine learning projects, including ML based Botnet Detection and Privacy Preserving Deep Learning, and has implemented models in Python using libraries like Sklearn, Keras, XGBoost, etc. He has achieved results comparable to state-of-the-art published models. Prior to Infosys, Nagabhushan worked at Samsung as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer. He managed data pipeline, language modelling, and hyperparameter optimization for Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) powering the smart assistant Bixby for Galaxy Home speaker. Nagabhushan successfully designed and implemented an ensemble model consisting of RNNs and Gradient Boosting Machines for multi-accent classification. He also implemented a recurrent neural network-based domain classifier, which is being used in the multi-language model architecture for Bixby. Nagabhushan also conducted research on Recurrent Neural Network-based Language Modelling and conceptualized the acoustic model, language model, and decoder of ASR for upcoming products. Nagabhushan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He also completed his Class 11th and 12th from Nalanda Pre University College and his Class 1st to 10th from Kendriya Vidyalaya.
