Nagesh Patle is an unconventional and innovative EECS PhD student at the University of California, Berkeley, with a passion for hardware synthesis and implementation for modules in semiconductor chips. With a strong background in power converter design and analysis, Nagesh won an award for the Best Thesis during his undergraduate studies at IIT Kharagpur. He is excited about the future and the mutual blending of the electric vehicle, energy, and AI segments. Nagesh is a perfectionist who is always thorough with what he does with interest, and the unmatched outcome he produces speaks for itself. He is great at infusing creative thoughts into technical solutions, making him a jack of all trades and master of some. He has also worked on deep learning and image processing in the past. Currently, Nagesh is a Doctoral Researcher at Pilawa Power Electronics Group, where he is leveraging his skills and knowledge to conduct research on power electronics. Prior to that, he worked at Qualcomm as a Modem Synthesis Engineer and an Interim Engineering Intern. Nagesh's education history includes an Integrated B.Tech and M.Tech (Dual degree) in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, where he graduated in 2021. He also completed his Senior Secondary education at Saroj Convent Higher Secondary School, Tikamgarh, and his high school education at Alphonsa High School, Prithvipur. Nagesh's tech stack includes research scientist, AI, image processing, and deep learning. He has 2.20 years of relevant experience, and he is always eager to learn and take on new challenges.
