Nagesh Puranik is an experienced Manager in the higher education industry with a demonstrated history of working in campus placements end to end activities. He has a strong skillset in campus to corporate, campus recruitment, training, freshers hiring, experienced hiring, freelance recruiting, masters abroad, international hiring, and international placements. Nagesh is currently working as the Associate Director - Placements at Dayananda Sagar Institutions. With over 22 years of relevant experience, Nagesh has developed an extensive network of industry contacts. He has held various positions in Dayananda Sagar Institutions, Bangalore, including Senior Manager and Manager- Placements. In his previous roles, Nagesh was responsible for organizing campus placements and internships for BE/M.Tech/MCA/BCA/Diploma/BBM/BCom/BBA/MBA final year students. He designed and updated students' database formats for all courses across the institution, collected student details for placements of all courses and branches, and updated placement policies from time to time. Nagesh also sent invitation mails to corporates for campus placements, coordinated with HR till the schedule of campus interviews, and generated eligible students' lists. He mailed required information to HRs, made campus recruitment notes to students, sent SMS to students/HODs/Coordinators, and made required resource bookings like auditorium, seminar hall, parking, and food arrangements. Nagesh was the SPOC for campus placements for all campus drives and followed up with HR regarding selects list getting the list providing back required info to the HR team. He also timely communicated to all corporates without any delay, updated the master database of selects, generated the selects note, and mailed the selects note to students/HOD/Coordinators. Nagesh completed his Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTU in 2015 and his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from STJ Institute of Technology, Ranebennur in 2000. He also completed PUC in Science from HPPC Government First Grade College, Challakere, and SSLC from B K Gupta High School. Nagesh has a tech stack of "test."
