Nagnath Masali is an experienced Applications Engineer at Rakuten, with a passion for cutting-edge technologies and optimizing infrastructure and services. With over 4 years of relevant experience, Nagnath has a strong background in Hashicorp Vault, GCP, OpenAPI, and Java EE. Currently working as a part of the Technology Incubation Team at Rakuten, Nagnath is responsible for investigating and analyzing the latest technologies, such as gRPC and Hybrid Cloud platforms like Google Anthos and Rancher. He is also a Project Manager for implementing a Key Management System (KMS) for Rakuten Card, where he has integrated Hashicorp Vault with all web systems for advanced secrets data management, along with the functionalities of Format Preserving Encryption (FPE) for card number tokenization. Prior to his current role, Nagnath has worked as a Chief Skills Developer in Personality at the Personality Advancement Circle of Engineers, where he organized and led weekly meetups for students, including personality-oriented sessions and group building activities. He has also organized state-level management events with over 1000 participants. Nagnath has also worked as a Mobile Application Developer at the Youth Empowerment Foundation, where he developed android applications for the foundation, including e-commerce and blood donation platforms. Nagnath holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Walchand College of Engineering, a government-aided autonomous institute in Sangli, Maharashtra. He also holds an Intermediate degree in PCM from Narayana Junior College, Hyderabad, and a Senior Secondary Education degree from Saint Joseph High School, Solapur. Nagnath's technical skills include Tokenization, GCP, Web, infra, Java, Mobile, and Android. He is a proactive problem solver and strives to deliver quality results in all his endeavors.
