Nahida Jamadar is a seasoned Senior Member of Technical Staff at VMware with over 7 years of experience working on distributed systems and virtualized cloud infrastructure products. She possesses a strong knowledge and experience in Virtualization, analysis, and problem-solving, as well as a good understanding of project lifecycle, OOPS concepts, and design patterns. Nahida has a good knowledge and exposure to ESXi, vSphere life cycle manager, VMware update manager, vCenter server, and VMware products. Nahida's current role at VMware is as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, where she is responsible for designing, developing, and testing VMware vCenter & its components, as well as incremental changes, enhancements, integrating/updating different components, and bug fixes for vCenter releases. She has also worked on multiple modules of vLCM, like depot manager, imager manager, and unified depot, and automated all functional test cases from multiple modules. Furthermore, Nahida has worked on migrating VMware Update Manager from Windows to Linux, automating all functional test cases, reviewing the code and design changes, and managing the VUM team with its deliverables across different releases. Nahida holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Basaveshwar Engineering College. She has also participated in VMware Hackathons, RADIO, Grace Hopper, and other conferences. Nahida has worked and helped the team with Nimbus Framework, for automatically deploying the vCenter Server VMs for unit testing. Nahida's technical skills include Software Engineering, testing, infrastructure, Java, Jenkins, Python, and VMware APIs, REST APIs, Linux, Windows, and Perforce. With over 10.61 years of relevant experience, Nahida is a valuable asset to any team that she is a part of.
