Najib Mahjoubi is a Data Science Technical Leader with over 13 years of relevant experience in the field. He has successfully implemented and integrated products and services, from proof of concept to production, with data at the heart of the business. Najib has a proven track record of creating modular, maintainable, and testable products and services that respond agilely to initial needs and anticipate future product evolutions. He believes in applying MLOps in real-world scenarios to accelerate the creation of value for businesses. Najib is a team player, and he believes in working flexibly with different stakeholders to ensure the collective success of projects. He emphasizes the importance of circulating information to all project stakeholders to achieve project success. Najib has worked with various technical environments, including Spark, Scala, MLlib, Python, Scikit-Learn, and HDFS. Prior to his current role as a Data Science Technical Leader at Cegedim, Najib served as a Senior Data Scientist at the same company and as a Data Scientist at Planetmedia. At Planetmedia, he built, scaled, and evolved a news articles recommendation service from scratch, analyzed vast data sets to extract meaningful information to improve services, and performed customer segmentation for personalized newsletter services. He was part of a project financed by Google's Digital News Innovation Fund. Najib holds a Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon (INSA Lyon), where he also earned a Master of Science in Computational Mechanics. He also holds a Master's degree in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from INSA Lyon. Najib's technical skills include Data Science, Research Science, HDFS, Spark, Scikit, Python, and Scala.
