Naman Jain is an experienced GCP Platform Engineer and Data Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. With over 9 years of relevant experience, he is skilled in SQL, Python, Airflow, BigQuery, Netezza, and Teradata. Naman has worked extensively on data loading from Netezza to GCS and is involved in designing the GCP architecture for migration from Netezza to GCP. Currently working as a Data Engineer at TCS, Naman has developed a schema conversion tool to convert Table DDLs, Views DDLs, and other functionalities for setting development testing and production environment on GCP. He has also orchestrated the pipelines on Google Composer and implemented POC to build an ETL pipeline using Databricks, BigQuery, and scheduled workflow using Airflow. Additionally, he has set up Cloud Composer within VPC Service Control using Cloud NAT. In his past roles at TCS, Naman worked as a Teradata and Netezza DBA and a System Engineer. As a Netezza Database Administrator, he developed and implemented the automated framework to collect penalty data and created a secured user group with access time limitation during ETL batch runs. He was also involved in troubleshooting various complex Dataslice, capacity management, and system slowness issues. As a Teradata Database Administrator, he was responsible for patch upgrades, performance monitoring, responding to alerts, tuning, creating appropriate indexes, and creating incidents with Teradata and assistance/follow-up with the CSR. Naman holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology and completed his high school education from Dayawati Modi Academy. He has expertise in Data Engineering, GCP, Apache Airflow, SQL, ETL, CI/CD, Big Data, Python, and Data Warehouse.
