Naman Mishra is a highly skilled software engineer with 8.5 years of experience in designing and developing scalable products for leading product-based companies. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at PhonePe, where he is responsible for developing backend solutions. Naman has a strong background in backend engineering and has worked on several projects related to data analytics, machine learning, and data visualization. He has worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Qubole, where he was responsible for developing web-based interactive notebooks services. He was a core member of the team that built Jupyter Notebooks offering in Qubole since its inception. During his tenure at Qubole, he implemented several core backend functionalities, including support for per-user Spark application, parametrized executions of notebooks, integration of code completion, and docstring help in Jupyter. He is currently owning the end-to-end delivery of Insights project. He also upgraded the mammoth Zeppelin version by applying around 600 commit patches on top of open source Zeppelin. He implemented the interactive Dashboards feature and added support for a new disruptive Spark version 2.3. He even committed two fixes back to open source. Naman has also worked as a Java back-end developer as part of VMware Cloud Foundation team. He worked on SDDC Bringup and IaaS modules for the on-prem SDDC deployment platform, as well as on Bringup workflow for providing Cloud Foundation-as-a-service on IBM cloud. Naman holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in several technologies, including Jupyter, Spark, ML, Integration, Web, and Java.
