Nampreet Sarao is a Senior Cloud Integration Architect at IBM with over 16 years of relevant experience in the field of technology. He is a passionate technology enthusiast who loves trying out new technologies and keeping up with technology trends. Nampreet has written two white papers in Middleware technologies area and published two articles on 'Monolithic to microservices migration' and on 'Saga pattern'. He has also filed a patent with the US Patent office on Container management solutions. Nampreet's specialties include Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JSP, JSF, AJAX-DWR, MS SQL Server 2000/2005, Websphere Message Broker, SOA, WMB, IBM BPM, Springboot, mongo, nodejs, Ionic, Docker, microservices, and Kubernetes. He has worked with various companies in the past, including IBM and Tech Mahindra. At Tech Mahindra, he led the API Competency group to provide solutions primarily in Americas region and support ROW (Rest of world) as well. He defined the path for the competency group and executed the technology roadmap for the group. He created POV/POCs in the API world using microservices architecture principles and built expertise in various API Lifecycle management tools like: APIGEE, WSO2, tyk. He also adapted the TMForum APIs to build POVs to showcase the capability to clients. The POV ecosystem included: microservices, elastic search & kibana, API Lifecycle management gateway and Ionic hybrid application, with deployment managed by docker containers onto IBM Bluemix. Nampreet also built accelerators in the API space: API One - aggregation tool to manage various API life-cycle management tools (APIGEE & WSO2). Nampreet's educational background includes a B.E degree in I.T from the University of Pune and he attended APS for his pre-university education.
