Namra Patel is a driven and enthusiastic undergraduate student at BITS Pilani, with a passion for new technologies and programming. With a strong foundation in Data Structures, Namra is well-versed in coding in C++ and Java, and has also gained experience in Web Design. She is always eager to learn and keep up with the latest trends in the industry. Namra has gained practical experience through her internships at PayPal and MathWorks. At PayPal, she worked on the backend system in the Pricing and Forex team, contributing to the development and configuration of APIs that are central to the pricing of services at PayPal. During her time at MathWorks, Namra worked on improving the execution time and automation of unit testing of MatLab toolbox functionalities using C++ and MatLab in-built functions, creating a robust test API for existing MatLab functionalities and comparing its speed with the existing test API. Currently, Namra is working as a Software Engineer-1 at PayPal, where she continues to grow her skills and contribute to the development of the company. She is a quick learner and a team player, always willing to collaborate and share her knowledge with others. Namra's education at BITS Pilani has equipped her with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which she will complete in 2022. Her education has provided her with a strong foundation in her field of study, and she has also gained practical experience through various projects and internships. Namra's technical skills include Software Engineering, Java, Web, test, and Backend. With 1.60 years of relevant experience, she is a promising young professional with a bright future ahead of her. Outside of work, Namra is passionate about sports and enjoys discussing them as an ice breaker.
