Namrata Sharma is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the industry. Currently working at Qualcomm, she is responsible for owning the design, development, documentation, and validation of Sigma Certification. In addition, she has developed various Feature Requests for various Android Upgrades and handled end-to-end Bring-up of various chipset releases. Namrata is also the POC for all the major APT reported issues for LBT testing done on the product for the various Android Upgrades as well as customer issues being reported on various chipsets. She has implemented Glass to Glass Latency notification enablement for an ongoing end-to-end miracast session. Namrata has previously worked as an Engineer at Qualcomm, where she led the software development over the breadth of the Technology stack for the miracast feature for Android Phones, which does mirroring of any source screen (e.g., mobile phones) on sink screen (e.g., TV screen). Her responsibilities included interacting with Display to Capture Screen and create Virtual Display, Networking protocol RTP (Real-time Transport Protocol) to deliver audio and video data, RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) based negotiation mechanism and state machine, and UIBC (User Input Back Channel) module to accommodate peripheral use (Keyboard/Mouse/Touch). She has also worked on encryption and decryption of audio and video frames with the help of HDCP module. Namrata has also worked as a Software Engineer at Zscaler, where she was a part of the Security Team. She worked on malware analysis (Joe sandbox) of files, which predicted the degree of malware and contributed to monitoring scripts to analyze their performance. She also worked on Google Safe Browsing Scripts for blocking features based upon traffic. Namrata is proficient in Software Engineering, Android, Mobile, SQL, Python, and Java.
