Namrita Pandita is a highly skilled software engineer with over 8 years of experience in the industry. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Facebook, she has previously worked with Adobe as a Member of Technical Staff II and as a Software Engineer Intern at meta. Namrita's expertise lies in Mobile and Backend development, with a focus on Android and Java. Her experience at Adobe involved developing Lightroom Desktop and Mobile applications, where she worked on the backend using C++, Lua, XML, Git, SQLite, and JSON. She was responsible for enhancing the Lua-based framework for syncing and organizing photos and videos across various mobile and desktop clients, including Android, Windows, and Mac OS. Her contributions also included implementing cross-platform time logging for photos synced to the cloud, which was used for sorting photos based on most recent edits across all synced devices. Namrita has also worked on exploratory projects using Google VR SDK, Unity framework, C#, and XAML. Her idea of using Google VR SDK and Unity to design a generic framework to make existing 2-D Android apps Google Cardboard compatible ranked among the top 5 in the Adobe Innovation Hackathon. She has also designed and developed a Lightroom Windows Universal App prototype. Namrita holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from MNNIT.
