Nanda Kishore is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in computer networking. He is currently working as a software engineer at Arista Networks, where he is utilizing his expertise in operating system modularity and optionality, C, data structures and algorithms, Python, and Linux. Prior to joining Arista, Nanda worked at Cisco as a software engineer, where he gained extensive experience working with NX-OSv 9000, a virtual platform designed for small and medium-scale enterprise networks. He was involved in a project aimed at converting a single big blob monolithic NX-OS into a modular operating system, where he gained experience in handling features, customer issues, and internal issues. He also took up the role of lab admin, handling acquisition and management of team-owned devices. Nanda's gained experience helped him to take up the next feature, which is aimed at creating an optional operating system. In this process, he got introduced to the working of Linux shared libraries and binaries, functionalities of linker and loader. He is currently working on various next-gen activities of NX-OS to improve boot time, memory management, bootable image size reduction, and automation. In addition to his technical skills, Nanda has demonstrated his ability to manage team-based events like outings and festive day celebrations for groups as big as 100 people, managing its own challenges. Nanda holds an integrated MS degree focused in software engineering from VIT, Vellore. He is proficient in software engineering, Python, Golang, and Java, with a relevant experience of 6.86 years.
