Currently working at Edgeq Inc., Nandan specializes in 5G_NR LTE, Protocols Testing, End to End System, and Verification. He has a strong understanding of related 3GPP specifications and has designed test plans based on 3GPP Spec for each Protocol layers like PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC, S1AP, and NAS. Nandan has executed test plans using different industry-standard tools and has tested LTE systems over the air in the field environment. Nandan has also worked on RF optimization to improve coverage and capacity in real field deployment. He has worked on functionalities like MIMO, UL power control, ANR, DRx, 4X4 MIMO, CA, VoLTE (SPS + RoHC + TTI Bundling), DL power control, Handovers, and more. He has experience working with UE test simulators like Aeroflex TM500, Ercom UE simulator, JDSU simulator, and Channel Faders like Azimuth channel Emulator, Spirent channel emulator. He has also conducted impairment tests on vBBU Front & BackHauls with Spirent Attero (Calnex). Prior to joining Edgeq, Nandan worked as a Senior Member of Technical Staff R&D at Altiostar, where he gained experience in designing test plans based on 3GPP Spec for each Protocol layers and executing test plans using different industry-standard tools. He has also worked as a Senior Member of Technical Staff 1 R&D at Mavenir, where he worked on RF optimization and functionalities like MIMO, UL power control, ANR, DRx, 4X4 MIMO, CA, VoLTE (SPS + RoHC + TTI Bundling), DL power control, Handovers, etc. Nandan holds a Master of Technology (MTech) in Digital Communication Engineering from Ramaiah Institute of Technology. He is proficient in test, software engineering, and deep learning. With his relevant experience and expertise, Nandan is a valuable asset to any team in the field of wireless communication.
