Nandan Ganguly is a highly motivated and skilled professional with experience in data science, Java development, and cyber security. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer and System Sciences from Stockholm University, with a major focus on data science and a minor focus on information security. Nandan has knowledge of data mining techniques and deep learning, with hands-on experience in deep learning for computer vision. He is highly interested in possible graduate-level opportunities in the data science and deep learning space, as well as research assistant positions in this field. In addition to his academic pursuits, Nandan has four years of industry experience as a Java developer and is open to equivalent opportunities in software development. He has worked as a Software Engineer and Associate Software Engineer at Yodlee, where he was responsible for software development and maintenance. Nandan has a strong tech stack, including skills in data science, Java, deep learning, software engineering, computer vision, and research science. Nandan has also worked as a Decor Room Manager and Construction Leader at Students' Nobel Nightcap, a voluntary position that he held as part of the student body responsible for arranging the traditional after-party that takes place following the Nobel Prize Ceremony and Nobel Banquet on the 10th of December every year in Stockholm, Sweden. In this role, he was responsible for creating ideas for decorating a room as per a specified theme, budgeting, getting sponsors, buying materials for decorating a room, and ensuring that the ideas and construction plan go to fruition. He managed volunteers during the construction work as a construction leader and was part of the hosting team during the party, helping the food and beverages team with the dishes, glasses, and cutlery. Nandan has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Engineering from KIIT University and completed his ICSE (10th boards) and ICSE (12th boards) from Garden High School in Kolkata. He has 7.43 years of relevant experience and a strong desire to continue learning and growing in the field of data science and deep learning.
