As an Engineering Lead, I am responsible for the execution of major engineering initiatives of the Search and Discovery team, which has 17 engineers with 4 QA, 1 designer, and 4 PM across 3 offices in 2 countries.
Major features that I am responsible for the implementations includes: For You tab (personalized item feeds), enhanced search browse experience, an introduction of My Likes tab where users can save their favorite items, Cart with multiple item purchase capability, and enhanced onboarding flow.

We rewrote the app from scratch and launched it in 3 months with less than 10 people to decouple the codebase from localized Japanese app to accelerate the development we needed to compete in the US.

As Lead Android Developer, I led the team of engineers in developing and maintaining Clio for Android. Clio is one of the fastest-growing technology startups, with offices in Vancouver, Toronto, and Dublin.

Implemented Clio for iOS with a team of 3 engineers, which was launched at Clio’s inaugural annual conference, Clio Cloud Conference with over 500 attendees.
Responsible for some of the major engineering initiatives, including Clio Rewards (customer referral program) and Clio Express (HTML5 based offline web app).

Implemented unit testing programming using various testing frameworks such as Selenium, RSpec, and PHPUnit. Coordinated with engineers for releases and responsible for maintaining the quality of both iOS and Android apps.
