Napender Singh is an experienced Full Stack Developer with a focus on Backend Services and Android App development. With over 11 years of full stack software development experience, he is proficient in Java and Android. He has experience in software architectural designing, including Stock Alert Engine and Android native chart library. Napender has developed back-end services using SpingBoot, Kafka, Redis, and MongoDb. He has hands-on experience with Push Notifications, multi-threading, MVC, MVP, MVVM, and RxJava. Currently, Napender is working as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs. He has also worked as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley and as a Tech Lead (Chief Manager) at Edelweiss, where he worked for 4+ years. At Edelweiss, he contributed to the development of in-house generic scalable backend services for trading and market data. He also managed a team of 12, responsible for developing/enhancing Edelweiss Trading platforms (Backend services & Mobile Frontend apps). Napender developed the native Android chart library, which supports various chart types, technical indicators, time periods, and draw tools. He also developed various EMT Android app modules, such as Portfolio & Reporting module, option calculator, trade (Eq, FNO, Curr & MF asset classes), deeplinking, etc. He refactored the EMT Android app from MVC to MVVM design pattern and revamped the code structure to support various themes & languages. Napender completed his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT in 2009.
