Naren Srinivasan is an experienced data science practitioner with a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, machine learning, and programming. He has a design mindset and has built a variety of products and solutions for analytics and data science. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Naren has extensive research and development experience going from prototypes to production for various use cases. Currently, he is working as a Senior Lead Data Scientist at Société Générale, where he is leading the product team in terms of product design and architecture, continuous delivery of incremental features, liaising with client stakeholders for sales, ongoing engagement, and delivery. He is responsible for the end-to-end conceptualization of new products in the areas of experimentation (Test and Learn), as well as Market Mix Modeling. Naren is also focused on continued research into areas such as Design of Experiments, Sequential analysis and experimentation, Bayesian methods, etc. He is also responsible for the commercialization and sales of products to a range of Fortune 500 customers. Naren is proficient in programming languages such as Java, Javascript, and R, and frameworks such as AngularJS, Spring, and D3. Prior to joining Société Générale, Naren worked with Mu Sigma, where he was part of the Leadership team, Mu Sigma Labs, leading R&D teams in the area of data science and machine learning. He was responsible for leading research teams in areas high in potential for innovation, building capabilities in these areas, while helping design and implement these solutions for various Fortune 500 customers. Naren has also worked with Vortex Engineering as an intern, where he worked on the design and manufacturing of low-cost, robust ATMs. Naren holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics from Manipal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from the University of London.
