Naresh Dharmasoth is an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in software engineering and a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. With almost a decade of relevant experience, Naresh has proven his expertise in Java, Apache Spark, R, Algorithms, Python, and Haskell. Currently working as a Research Scientist at Conduent, Naresh is involved in developing Invoice Payments & Settlements, a platform on top of the Blockchain network for Financial Accounting & Procurements. He has implemented an application server using Yesod, a type-safe functional programming provided by Haskell, which is used for interactions between frontend, blockchain network, and payment hub. Naresh has also worked on standard Haskell libraries like STM, Conduit, Aeson, Wreq. Naresh has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Genesys and Neustar. At Genesys, he was involved in implementing Data Pipeline Input Terminal, a Kafka microservice within Analytics pipeline producing IVR data from Customer Interaction Center(CIC) systems to respective topics for further data analysis. He also designed and implemented IVR Stream processor for data transformations and aggregations using Kafka topologies. At Neustar, Naresh delivered customer engagement score, a stage in Action pipeline, and developed a PoC on migrating hive queries to Spark execution environment using Spark SQL, analyzed performance times over Hive and Spark. Naresh holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT and completed his Intermediate education in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from Sri Chaintanya Jr. College. He also holds an SSC degree from Fathima High School, Mahabubabad.
