Naroo Krishnan is a seasoned product leader with over 19 years of experience in consumer products and strategy at scale. He is currently the Head of Products at nurture.farm, an open, digital platform for sustainable agriculture that empowers farmers and others in the agricultural ecosystem globally with better access, convenience, services, and sustainable practices through technology and science-based solutions at scale. At nurture.farm, Naroo has set up and led several teams, including product management, product design, user research, content and creatives, graphic design, brand and marketing, and media relations. He is passionate about media and knowledge products, ed-tech, sports-tech, agri-tech, online communities and marketplaces, transportation, artificial intelligence, new product discovery, product innovation, and shaping disruptive, bold ideas. Prior to joining nurture.farm, Naroo was the Head of Products at Ola Mobility, where he headed the product organization of 100+ product managers and analysts across all aspects of Ola’s mobility offerings globally. He guided internationalization and launch of mobility products into new markets in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. He also built and scaled platforms and products for restaurants, logistics, and delivery riders to support Ola's entry into the food delivery business through the Foodpanda brand. Naroo defined and built annual operating plans for the Products org to support ambitious business objectives for the Ola group. He also launched Ola's first-ever self-drive transportation offering in the form of Ola Drive and conceived and launched the first-ever APM (Associate Product Manager) program for the Ola group in partnership with select IIT campuses. Naroo has also worked at Yahoo as the Director of Product Management, AI Products, where he led the emerging products track to incubate and explore new grounds for search and discovery products, including visual, voice, conversational, and chat-driven interfaces for Q&A, event discovery, group scheduling, and productivity use cases, with external distribution points in the form of mobile apps and messaging bots. Naroo holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Oklahoma State University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai. He also attended Parle College and St. John's High School in Mumbai. Naroo's tech stack includes product management, product design, research scientist, AI, search, and mobile.
