Natalie Clamp is a Software Developer at the Ministry of Justice UK, with over 5 years of relevant experience. She has a wide range of skills, including software engineering, frontend development, AWS, and integration. Natalie has worked with several organizations in the past, including bpdts limited, where she was a Front End Developer. During her time there, she worked with an agile squad within DWP to build a service for citizens to identify themselves. She designed, prototyped, and tested an effective, user-centred journey, despite complex business requirements. She also collaborated effectively with external teams to ensure the end-to-end citizen journey remains as secure and efficient as possible. Natalie delivered a platform that deals with citizen information securely, requiring integration with new and legacy systems within DWP and HMRC. She completed a 3-day AWS Developer Training course and led two workshops at DWP's Women in Digital Conference in June to remove assumptions about developers and learning to code. Natalie has also worked with Code First: Girls as an Instructor. She has a solid educational background, with a Master of Biological Science (MBiolSci) from the University of Sheffield and a City & Guild Accreditation in Digital & Agile Foundation Course from the Government Digital Service Academy. She also has an Advanced: Ruby Development certification from Code First: Girls.
