Natasha Malik is a Software Engineer at Google with a passion for software development that started in school. She has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science from Keshav Mahavidyalaya, University of Delhi and a Master of Computer Applications from Bharati Vidyapeeth. Natasha's journey in software development started with writing her first “Hello world” program and building a periodic table in C++ in class 12th. She then developed a keen interest in Java and joined a group of seniors for automating the Delhi University Community Radio as an Innovation Project. Natasha later learned Android app development and made her first app for her mother. She then went on to develop an automobile documentation vault for a friend as her first freelance project. Natasha's decision to opt for Post-Graduation in CS from BVICAM provided her with the next step in her journey. She went on to be the youngest founding member of the Incubation Cell of her college, developed the official app, and mentored juniors on OOPs, Java, and Android. Natasha's first professional experience was at Blackstone CoE as a Software Engineering Intern for six months, where she was given the opportunity to work on a business project using React and .NET framework. Currently, Natasha is working as a Software Engineer at Google. Natasha's passion for software engineering is fueled by studying new languages and algorithms, and education has taught her how much there is yet to learn. Along with the never-ending software engineering puzzle, Natasha loves solving sudoku puzzles. Natasha has relevant experience of 2.69 years and her tech stack includes Software Engineering, Java, and Android. Natasha's past companies include Google and Thoughtfocus, where she worked as a Software Engineer II and Software Engineer Intern, respectively, at Blackstone CoE.
