Nautatava Navlakha is an accomplished Project Manager with over 3 years of experience in the technology industry. Currently, she is working as an Associate Consultant at FinMechanics, where she is responsible for managing projects and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. With a strong background in infrastructure and Python, Nautatava has proven expertise in automating processes, improving efficiency, and reducing downtime. Nautatava started her career as a System Administrator at IIT Bombay, where she was entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining and upgrading Gymkhana servers. During her tenure, she improved efficiency by 40% and almost eliminated downtime by moving and maintaining the student software infrastructure from virtual machines to LXC containerized deployments in Proxmox Virtual Environment. She also set up Zabbix for automatic monitoring of the cluster status and informed the staff of any unexpected downtimes. She wrote scripts and created self-updating views for data visualizations on staging and production environments and improved the core part of the product - "bond master engine" by dividing it into two parts for easy access to the 105 features taking care not to break already running applications. She also wrote APIs in Java with Spring, Hibernate, and Hazelcast and integrated them with ExtJS. Nautatava validated Credit Default Swaps, taking into consideration ISDA standards and verified results with Markit calculator. Nautatava holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
