Navaneesh Kumar is a Distributed Systems Software Engineer at Salesforce, with a Master of Science in Computer Science from Arizona State University. Currently interning at Visa, Navaneesh is responsible for Test Engineering, Digital and Mobile Platform Development. He has experience in developing Web UI automation for Visa Digital Commerce Application (VDCA) using Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), and has also worked on a testing utility for an in-house framework, using frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, Jenkins (CI), and Java. Navaneesh has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Visa, where he was a part of the Operation and Analytics (OperA) and Reliability Engineering team. He has automated statistical baselines for operational data using Apache Spark and visualization using Tableau. He has also optimized the load on time-series database by designing a push-model architecture using web-sockets and Redis caching, which was used for real-time monitoring of traffic. Navaneesh has developed a full-stack web application for an internal ‘application and infrastructure monitoring tool’ used organization-wide. He has also documented several technical components and developed a documentation site for the ease of internal consumption. Navaneesh received the star-performer of the quarter award during his tenure at Visa. His technologies include NodeJS, React, GraphQL, Golang, Python, Apache Spark, Grafana, and Prometheus. Navaneesh has also worked as a Software Developer at Digital Innovation Group ASU, where he was responsible for developing websites. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from R. V.
