Navanit Tikare is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and operating web applications and services in full stack. Currently, he is working as a Staff Software Engineer at Uber, where he is responsible for leading the CRM data analytics team, which processes over 1 billion communication events per day to provide real-time and offline analytics using Hadoop, Kafka, Apache Flink, and Hive. Navanit has previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Uber, where he was the tech lead and individual contributor for the marketing data engineering team under AdTech on Big Data infrastructure using Hadoop, Hive, and Apache Spark. He has also collaborated with Data Scientists, Product Managers, Business Intelligence Teams, and Marketers to implement new metrics for performance measurement of Uber's marketing spend. Navanit completed his Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technical Institute (VJTI) in 2009 and his HSC in Science from MH Junior College Thane in 2005. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in various technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, Apache Hive, Spark, and Big Data.
