Naveen C R is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in Investment Banking and Public Cloud domains. He is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) where he is responsible for improving the search relevance for Oracle’s internal and external Search applications using Machine Learning and statistical techniques. Naveen is skilled in Data Analytics, Machine Learning & AI, and has a strong Engineering background with a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. Prior to joining Oracle, Naveen worked at Societe Generale as a Specialist Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. At Societe Generale, he was involved in the development of AI/Machine Learning projects within the Trade data warehouse of the bank. He also worked on setting up the Data quality (BCBS-239) controls on public cloud infrastructure. Naveen was responsible for developing a Machine Learning based automation framework for detection of Data Quality issues within the Datawarehouse of the bank as a part of BCBS-239 regulatory requirement. Naveen has a Bachelor of Technology degree from Amrita University in Computer Science and has a strong Tech Stack which includes Data Scientist, Research Scientist, Search, infra, ML, AI, Software Engineer, and Data Warehouse. He is a skilled professional with a demonstrated history of working on complex projects and delivering results.
