Naveen Kumar is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 13 years of experience in the industry. Currently, he is working as an SDE 4 at Flipkart, where he is involved in working on the complexities of stateful Streaming Systems at scale. He is also working on Session Insights, which provides real-time personalized insights to identify current user intent like interest of store categories and gender. Prior to joining Flipkart, Naveen worked at Ola as an SDE III, where he owned the fraud prevention charter at Ola Money. He built systems from the ground up for fraud prevention, including an anomaly detection system, a framework to monitor unusual spikes in numerous streams of data based on statistical limits, an entity store, a low latency store for Risk Service with read-through and write-through caching, a data pipeline, and a real-time transaction evaluation engine that works on user transaction and behavior history. Before Ola, Naveen worked at ilabs, [24]7 inc as a Tech Lead, where he was part of the platform engineering team of PxAssist, building applications like interaction platform, predictive routing, real-time monitoring, reporting, etc. in the customer service domain. The primary focus of the team was to build enterprise-quality distributed applications and frameworks designed for high scale and high availability. Naveen holds a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication from MNNIT, where he completed his education in 2009. He has expertise in various tech stacks and has worked as a Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Overall, Naveen is a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer with a proven track record of building complex systems from the ground up.
