Naveen S is a Security Engineer at Freshworks Inc. with a passion for problem-solving and a diverse background in music, development, information security, and research. He is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), as well as the GDG & WTM Chennai and GDSC 2019-20 communities. In his current role at Freshworks, Naveen is working on a security issue tracker on top of the project management tool, collaborating with the Incident Response team, and developing a base framework for internal threat intelligence. He has also worked as a Security Engineer GT at Freshworks, where he set the base for operational security orchestration and automation, contributed to SAST implementations, and engaged in other DevSecOps activities. Additionally, he served as an Information Security Intern at Freshworks, where he created automated analysis, pivoting, decision support, and incident response for security operations, as well as data augmentation, analysis, and visualization. Naveen has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with specialization in Cyber Security from Hindustan University and completed a Summer Research Program in Data Mining and Business Intelligence in Cyber Security at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He also holds a 10+2 degree in Computer Science from Montfort Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai. With 2.69 years of relevant experience as a Research Scientist, Naveen is a skilled problem-solver and speaker who is always ready to take on new challenges and contribute to the field of information security.
