Nazmus Saquibe is a Principal Engineer of IT Technology at Grameenphone Limited. He is an ambivert person who believes in the core principle of work ethic and prioritizes smart work over hard work. Passion, intensity, curiosity, and generosity are the key traits of his personality. He believes in learning through experience and has constituted himself as “Knowing something” rather than knowing the name of something. At Grameenphone, Nazmus is responsible for leading the technical deliveries of three web platforms: Payment Orchestration Layer, MyGPEnterprise, and Grameenphone Developer Portal. He also focuses on improving internal processes, mainly focusing on the way of work for IT deliveries. Nazmus is one of the front-line soldiers for Grameenphone, treated as an Agile coach, and drives Agility in IT projects not only in-house development but also at the vendor’s development team. Additionally, he is responsible for budget, work planning, and tracking for his team, who are responsible for all customer-facing digital products. He is the spoke person towards GP’s digital division from the Digital Service Delivery team under the hood of digital portfolio manager. Code governance, solution design, and delivery management lies at his core duty at Grameenphone. Nazmus has worked as a Senior Specialist at Grameenphone Limited, where he drove partnership opportunities between Grameenphone and local tech-based startups. He also co-founded and worked as a CTO at Chorki, a small startup that focused on product development, engineering, and search engines. Nazmus has a degree in Computer Science and Technologies from Ahsanullah Biggyan O Projucti Bishwabiddalaya and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from United International University. He has also completed a Telenor Strategy Execution Online Program from INSEAD and a Nano Degree in Machine Learning Engineering from Udacity. Nazmus has relevant experience of 7.44 years and is skilled in web development, search engines, senior software engineering, dotNET, and Hadoop.
