Nebrass Lamouchi is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, with a passion for Java and Cloud technologies. He has a strong background in Java SE/EE projects, having worked in various sectors such as Business Management, Petroleum, Finance & Banking, Medical & healthcare, and Defence & Space. Nebrass has developed applications using many frameworks and Java-related technologies, such as native Java EE APIs and 3rd-party frameworks & tools (Spring, Quarkus, Hibernate, Primefaces, JBoss Forge). Nebrass is a former NetBeans Dream Team member until December 2017, and one of the happy four winners of the Oracle Groundbreaker Awards in May 2019. He is also a Project Leader in the OWASP Foundation since March 2013, on the Barbarus Project. Nebrass is the author of three books, including "Playing with Java Microservices with Quarkus and Kubernetes" published with Leanpub in December 2020. At Microsoft, Nebrass helps customers accelerate their business transformation and tackle their toughest technical problems both in the cloud and on the edge. He also works with Microsoft’s Product Teams to improve the products and services and contribute to open-source projects and communities: Azure Java Functions & Azure SDK for Java. Nebrass implements MVPs & POCs along with Technical Writing about Azure DevOps, Azure Functions Java, Azure Service Bus, Azure Eventhub, Azure Storage, Azure CosmosDB, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Registry. Nebrass has previously worked as a Technical Leader Consultant at stime, where he conducted platform audits & code reviews, integrated/decommissioned components of the existing architecture, developed Spring Boot/Cloud microservices, and managed the handover process between two development teams. He has also worked as a Technical Leader at onepoint, where he was a Java community leader, banking, finance & insurance community member, architecture community member, and trained & boosted coding fingers. Nebrass holds an M.Sc Degree in Information Systems Security and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management & Computing sciences from the Higher Institute of Management of Tunis, Tunisia. He has a High-School Degree in Mathematics from lycée ksour.
